COVID-19 UPDATE
On March 25, 2020, Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota ordered all persons currently living within the State of Minnesota “to stay home or in their residence except to engage in Activities and Critical Sector work” from Friday 3/27/2020 at 11:59 PM until Friday 4/10/2020 at 5:00 PM. At this point it is our goal to reopen CHOICE, unlimited on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 pending other directives from our state and local governments. If you need to contact us in the meantime, please call 218-724-5869 and your call will be directed to a member of our Leadership Team. We understand that our current situation may be difficult, but we must follow the guidance of our state and local governments to keep people safe and decrease the spread of COVID-19. Situations change from day to day and information contained in this announcement may change in the future. CHOICE, unlimited Receives Arrowhead Regional Quality Council Grant
CHOICE, unlimited is fortunate to have been awarded a grant for $15,050 through the Arrowhead Regional Quality Council to provide a unique offering to the people we serve, furthering the quality of our services. We are excited to partner with Upstream Arts, a Minneapolis-based organization, to offer a work-shop style course: The Art of Relationships. The course will focus on safe relationships and sexuality and will empower participants to make informed, healthy choices with the goal of increasing their self-sufficiency while decreasing risks of abuse, unhealthy relationships and negative health outcomes. CHOICE, unlimited plans to develop and create a unique Healthy Relationships class series to offer the people we serve incorporating aspects of our already impactful ARTS Program.

Northland Foundation Grant Awarded
CHOICE, unlimited is pleased to announce that it was awarded a grant through the Northland Foundation for $4,950.00. The grant project focuses on capacity building and structural redesign, examining our current organizational structure, taking a creative approach to structural redesign while considering succession planning, funding dynamics, and the changing landscape of our workforce. CHOICE, unlimited is thrilled to announced that our ARTS Program was granted the Arts Learning Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
This funding helps make creative opportunities possible for the people we serve and helps spread the word of inclusiveness!

CHOICE, unlimited Receives Olga B. Hart Foundation Donation
CHOICE, unlimited received a generous donation of $3,500 from the Olga B. Hart Foundation. The mission of this Foundation is to increase educational opportunities therefore enhancing the skills of individuals in our community. The donation will be used in the fiscal year 2018-2019 to enrich training opportunities of our staff working in the community with the people we serve. At a time when our agency continues to recover from issues related to reduced funding, this generous donation will increase our ability to offer excellent training opportunities to our staff.
