OPTIONS

Is an alternative day program for individuals with
disabilities and special needs who need one-on-one
support.

Offers personal and social support in accessing
community resources

Provides the opportunity for supported employment
based on individual interests, skills, and preferences

Develops services together with the individual and his
or her support network


The OPTIONS program offers:

Community, Personal, and Social Support:

Accessing community resrources and activities; scheduling; transporting; emphasizing building relationships and friendships

Behavioral Evaluation and Services:

Assessment of needs and development of strategies to increase social skills, self image and self esteem; teaching anger control through conflict resolutions and relaxation

Vocational Services:

Provides skill assessment, job search and employment skill development, as well as community based supported employment with on-the-job training

Life Skills Enhancement:

Instruction in personal appearance, grooming, hygiene, nutrition awareness and physical fitness

Transportation Support:

Instruction in using city transit to and from community based settings and employment sites; transportation will be provided by staff when needed
