A community-based employment program supporting individuals as they choose career paths, participate in work, and develop entrepreneurial opportunities



Work by Design offers:

Career Development:

Assesses skill level to insure optimum job match

Provides assistance with applications, civil service
examinations, and interview skill development

Assists with resume and cover letter

Conducts job site assessments to determine the need for
assistive technology/accommodations.

Works closely with individuals to maintain or improve skills
at current jobs

Informs individuals of entrepreneurial experiences and
supports them in their search for self employment

Transportation:

Provides transportation support to and from community
employment sites

Instructs individuals in the use of city transit

Job Coaching:

Provides job coaches to instruct, support, and mentor
individuals at employment sites

Maintains follow-up support with consumers and employers
