Alex Hautajarvi has been in four plays with BOLD-choice, and she loves playing expressive, loving and sassy characters. Alex is up for a challenge and enjoys listening, singing, and dancing to her favorite music. Alex is a proud aunt; she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Alicia Carranza is a born performer, but being in BOLD-choice is brand new for her. Alicia loves to act, sing, dance, and play the flute and piano (and is learning trumpet). Alicia loves spending time with her friends and family.

Annie Roseen has always been in love with theatre and performance. She feels honored to be BOLD-choice Theatre’s Director. Her greatest passion is social justice and being involved in the arts. She is proud and thankful to have this company in her life.

Becky Gergen started in a backstage and understudy role for BOLD-choice but caught the acting bug and is now in the cast full time! In Becky’s spare time she likes spending time with her family. Becky is a proud aunt and a bonus mom to two amazing kids,

Cassie Keeler is new to the world of acting and has found it to be exhilarating! The cast have become her friends and cheerleaders as she continues to try new things and be brave. Cassie loves shopping, fishing, pop culture, boy bands, SpongeBob, movies, music, reading and spending time with her pup, Poochie.

Chasadie West is a new cast member and loves to be in the spotlight. Chasadie loves her family and pets. Chasadie spends her free time journal writing, listening to music, and being fabulous!

Chris Wark loves acting and being part of the BCTC cast! Chris loves to go running; he has run the Garry Bjorklund half marathon many times. Chris works at Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center. Chris also enjoys art, movies, music, and spending time with friends.

Dan Wendt finds joy in acting and is always looking forward to the next performance! Dan enjoys cooking shows and classical music. Dan loves listening to public radio, puppetry, games, talent competitions, and spending time with his friends and family.

Daniel Hepokoski is a veteran BOLD-choice actor. He loves acting and going to see plays. Dan attended Faribault School for the Deaf. Dan teaches sign language classes. He participates in Special Olympics, playing floor hockey, basketball, football, bowling, and golf.

David Kolesar is new to the Duluth area and BOLD-choice Theatre! He loves working with children, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife. David brings a positive, energetic energy wherever he goes.

This new production is the first time being in BOLD-choice for Gina Knoll and she is excited to be part of the company. In her spare time Gina likes to spend time outdoors gardening or by Lake Superior and visiting her family in The Cities.

Jenny Schilling enjoys music and movies, and her independence is very important to her. She keeps her apartment cozy by cleaning and making meals. Jenny loves shopping, getting her nails done, spending time with her family and being in BOLD-choice Theatre.

Jet Clark is a kind and loving person that prides himself on being a team player and a hard worker. Jet has fulfilled his dream of being on stage by joining BCTC. He loves writing, making jokes, and generally learning new skills. Jet is a published author of a collection of short stories.

Kate Wallin has been part of three BOLD-choice productions and loves the friendship and new experiences it brings to her life. She volunteers at the YWCA at the Membership Desk. Self-advocacy and education are important to her. Kate enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Ken Forseth took a break from acting and he and the cast are excited to have him back in BOLD! Ken loves sharing the stage with his fellow actors. Ken loves working, listening to music, making things, and spending time with his mom and dog Rocky.

Kevin Ressie has been part of BOLD-choice Theatre from its inception and has been in every BCTC production. He is creative and artistic by nature, enjoying drawing, painting, writing poetry, dancing and of course, acting! He thinks of his BOLD castmates as family and is excited for the new show.

Lindsey Dandrea loves that being in BOLD-choice has allowed her to meet new people and learn new things. She likes acting, singing, dancing, and participating in Special Olympics. Lindsey loves to talk and make people laugh!

Lloyd Goodman is an accomplished actor with the company and he enjoys acting with BOLD-choice. Lloyd enjoys taking solo walks, reading, and visiting Barnes and Noble. Lloyd recently retired from his day job after working over 45 years! He is a history buff, world traveler and loves airports.

Michael Truong is a talented, dedicated member of BOLD-choice Theatre. Michael is a world traveler and an accomplished Sushi Master chef at Zen House restaurant in Duluth. Michael loves to stay fit, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Nathan Ahlberg is a gifted musician and enthusiast of eccentric items- including vintage vehicles, modern and vintage computers, instruments of all kinds, and unique board games. Nathan loves to learn about the history of culinary arts and can be found hanging in a 1977 Scamp Camper or tooling around in his own 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Being on stage as an actor is a new experience for Nathan and he is thriving at it!

Pete Barnett is a BOLD-choice veteran; he has been in every BOLD-choice production! He loves acting and art in general. Pete has his own business “Crafted by Pete” where he makes handcrafted knit products. He lives in Two Harbors with his wife, Holly.

Rob Reedy has been in BCTC since 2008! Rob is a natural born entertainer and loves the thrill of being on stage! Rob appreciates all his cast mates and crew in BOLD-choice. He is a hard-worker; in his spare time Rob likes to listen to music, getting out and about with his roommates, and reading his Bible.

Robbie Hagberg has a long history with BOLD-choice Theatre and he is excited to be in the current cast! Robbie enjoys humor, music, walks, bike rides, accessorizing his attire, and spending time with family, friends, and roommates. He spends a lot of time with his family in Pequot Lakes and enjoys being outdoors and by the water.

Rose Evans started in BOLD-choice as a backstage hand and eventually stepped into an acting role. She is excited and proud to be part of BOLD-choice. Rose is married and has 2 children. She loves reading, music, and spending time with family.

Roxanne Nelson is a veteran BOLD-choice actor and is thrilled to be back in this latest production! She feels like BOLD is family to her. Roxanne is a passionate performer-she loves to sing, dance, and try new things. Her independence is important to Roxanne and she loves being part of her community.

Shannon Kaspari has proudly been a part of BOLD-choice for many years in the role of backstage manager and actor. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors doing a variety of activities throughout the year, working backstage at the Duluth Playhouse, taking dance classes, and spending time with her family.

Stephanie Wilcox is a born performer, and she loves stage life! She performs in BOLD-choice as well as the Haunted Ship during Halloween time. Stephanie is an accomplished visual artist. She has products available online on Redbubble, at ALT Creative- a local artist collaborative and at craft shows and galleries.

Lifelong artist Toby Churchill enjoys all things expressive and feels grateful to be the Musical Director of BOLD-choice Theatre. Creating and entertaining with the other actors is a unique and fulfilling experience. Toby is an artist and innovator. He loves to read, learn, question, and teach.

Tyler Persch was born to be on stage! He loves BCTC and creating with his cast mates and friends. Tyler likes to have fun and be an independent man– living in his own (clean) apartment and working at Bulldog Pizza in Duluth. Tyler loves wild animals, music, and dressing sharp.

Zach Slocum is a gifted actor. This production is his second BOLD-choice play, but his first ever musical; he is ready for the challenge! Zach is a kind-hearted person and makes friends easily. He enjoys taking the bus around town, especially the mall, spending times with his dad and friends and collecting pennies.
